Dear Youth, Esteemed Athletes,

Sport is not merely a physical activity; it is also a way of life that gives direction to our lives and shapes values such as discipline, endurance and leadership. With this understanding, as the Istanbul Topkapı University Faculty of Sport Sciences, we continue the journey we began in the 2020-2021 academic year within the School of Applied Sciences, now with our faculty identity as of 1 June 2021. Our faculty offers three undergraduate programs—Coaching Education, Recreation, and Sports Management—through which we aim to educate you as individuals equipped both theoretically and practically.

Our goal is not only to produce graduates equipped with field knowledge, but also to raise individuals who will make a difference in the sports sector and in social life. To prepare you for the future as intelligent, agile and at the same time virtuous individuals, as idealized by Atatürk, we offer a dynamic and innovative understanding of education that reflects the requirements of the age.

In all three departments of our faculty, in addition to the core courses you will take in the first two years of your education, you will have the opportunity to receive training in eight different sports branches, including individual sports, team sports and basic sports. In this process, while strengthening your theoretical background, you will have the chance to experience yourself in various fields of sport. From the third year onwards, you will advance towards specialization with an educational model consisting of applied and elective courses suited to your career goals and interests.

Graduates of the Istanbul Topkapı University Faculty of Sport Sciences graduate with the knowledge and experience to make a name for themselves not only in our country but also in the international sports sector. Our graduates, whom we aim to equip to work in different areas of the sports industry, will make a difference with their original ideas, creative solutions and dynamic nature.
